Product Description
At Sourcing Marine, we recognize that a rotor shaft must endure extreme centrifugal forces and temperatures simultaneously. Our assemblies feature high-alloy forged shafts and precision-cast turbine wheels, ensuring maximum fatigue life and efficient energy recovery from exhaust gases.

Technical Engineering Standards
- Advanced Metallurgy: Turbine wheels are manufactured from heat-resistant superalloys (Inconel or equivalent) to prevent “creep” and blade deformation during high-load operations.
- Shaft Surface Treatment: Induction-hardened bearing journals to provide superior wear resistance and extended service life for floating and fixed bearings.
- Strict Quality Control: All rotor shafts undergo Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), including ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspections, to ensure the absence of internal flaws or microscopic cracks.
Logistics & “Exchange Base” Service
- Exchange Program: To support rapid turnaround during port stays, we offer a specialized “Exchange Base” program for common VTR and MET models. Contact our technical team for current availability.
- Ready-to-Ship Stock: We keep a strategic reserve of the most frequently requested rotor shafts in our Shenzhen and international warehouses.
- Seaworthy Packaging: All rotor assemblies are vacuum-sealed and shipped in custom-engineered, shock-resistant crates to prevent shaft deflection or blade damage during transit.
